CONNECTING LIVES

God works wonders in many ways. As the saying goes " marriages are made in heaven" The instruments in making that happen are varied.

Let me tell u a cute little love story.

A young man with dreams in his eyes and hopes in his mind was idling away at home feeling a little bored . Just then he heard the black big telephone, a status symbol of the select few let out a shrill "tring tring" . With studied nonchalance he lifted the receiver and bellowed a " Hello" .The voice on the other side, sounded like music to his ears, lady on the other side asked for a person. Knowing it was a wrong call but not wanting to break the connection with the musical voice, he continued the conversation and jokingly said - the person you ask for does not live here but I do and am willing to offer my services to you, my young lady. The voice sounded perplexed and having realized that she had dialed a wrong number, apologized and was about to cut the line. Our Hero quipped a one liner to pique her interest but the line was already cut. Downcast and forlorn he sat twiddling his thumb.

The Cupid , the telephone let out it's "tring" again and the same wrong number connected again. Her excuse for dialing again was "I didn't hear you well last time ,when the line got cut "

The hero and the heroine continued the conversation on the telephone and they still have not ended the conversation, of course face to face now, (what a whopping huge bill would have amounted if they were still on the telephone 🙄)after 25 lovely years of togetherness.

Some connections are made for LIFE.

P.S. The hero adds "love for the caller has not depreciated with time, but has swelled up till the end of the world "
